Dragon Maths

Sixty pupils took part in Dragon Maths in the Hall this afternoon.  Professor Derek Ward-Thompson (Jeremiah Horrocks Professor of Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy at UCLAN) attended, spoke and presented the prizes to the winners.  Kolbe was the overall winning house team, Kolbe Team B was the team with the highest points, Robert Stack won the the prize for highest individual score, Cameron Alder came second and Sophie Caton came third.  A number of notable performances and examples of a high calibre of  teamwork were seen across all the teams.
