Behaviour Mentor

Grade 5  

Commencing September 1st 2019 (or earlier)

Governors wish to appoint a Behaviour Support Mentor to further improve behaviour and pupil support for our pupils.

The successful candidate will work with the Behaviour Support Officer to improve the behaviour and welfare of pupils through the effective use of a behaviour inclusion unit. He or she will help ensure targeted pupils receive an appropriate sanction, support and guidance so that they avoid exclusion and can make progress in their learning.

The successful candidate will:

  • Fully understand the Catholic, inclusive ethos of the school
  • Be passionate about improving the life chances of all pupils
  • Be experienced at working with vulnerable or disaffected students
  • Have knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
