Well done to our Year 8 boys football team, who return to school today after a busy half-term packed with league and cup fixtures!

The boys have progressed to the next round of the Lancashire Cup and have produced some extremely impressive performances in the league. Despite starting their league campaign with two defeats, they have shown fantastic perseverance, resilience and determination, fighting back in games and battling right until the final whistle.

Coach Mr Cooper has in particular highlighted the performances of Albie, who earned Player of the Match against All Hallows for winning his aerial duels and commanding the defence, and Fraizer, who picked up Player of the Match against Lostock Hall for his outstanding work rate and excellent dribbling skills.

Keep up the hard work, boys!
